DSEG College Commitment Announcements

ALYSSA WILSON

It is with great pleasure that we announce Alyssa Wilson's decision to commit to Hood College (NCAA DIII) for her collegiate hockey career. Daughter of Stephanie and Christopher Wilson, Alyssa brings two years of experience from her time at DSE to her future endeavors.

Alyssa's tenure at DSE has been marked by notable achievements, including her pivotal role in securing victory at the CCM Dallas tournament, a moment noted as a favorite memory from the season. When asked about her proudest moment as a member of Dallas Stars Elite, Alyssa shared that she loved the way “our organization [came] together to support Team Colorado after they suffered a loss on their team.”

While Alyssa bids farewell to DSE, she acknowledges the profound sense of community fostered among teammates and coaches. However, she eagerly anticipates forging new connections and contributing to the growth and camaraderie of a new program at Hood College.

In offering advice to aspiring players, Alyssa emphasizes the importance of maintaining focus on personal performance and role fulfillment, noting “don’t focus on what other people are doing, focus on yourself and playing your role.”

When asked about how they feel about Alyssa’s promotion to the next level, parent’s Stephanie and Christopher Wilson said, “We are so proud of all you have accomplished, take pride in what you’ve achieved and strive for success in your future.” They also wanted to offer these words of encouragement to Alyssa and other young players aspiring to achieve their dreams: “[remember] every game is an opportunity to measure yourself against your own potential.”

As Alyssa embarks on this new chapter, we extend our congratulations and best wishes for her continued success at the next level. Here's to a bright future filled with achievement and fulfillment on and off the ice!
